The VISUALPLANT Web Services API offers a simple and powerful way for publishers who use VISUALPLANT Platform to distribute their content in the form of protected data feeds using standard "REST" Web Services. A publisher's Web site, client application, set-top box application or any Internet venue can request titles that match specific search criteria, get most popular titles, get information about users and much more. The "metadata" and media files then get served from the VISUALPLANT "CMS" and geographically-distributed Network of CDNs.
